When did you know?

When did you know you were in love? What did it feel like ? How did you feel about your partner and what made you realise it was different from the others?

I think I just knew. Without a shadow of a doubt. I knew before my bf and I even officially started dating. I knew if I started this relationship, it would be for the long hall. I'd never felt like that for anyone before. I think the first "stage" of love is when you just want to talk to them and be around them all the time, and you miss them whenever you can't be with them. I felt nervous, but also at ease. I felt like I could really be myself, not like I had to impress him at all times by saying I liked things I didn't like etc. He was (and still is$ the person I trusted the most, the person I'd call in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep. And once we actually started dating, I knew I was in love because whenever we would get into arguments, I'd want to work it out right then and there. Which is really unusual for me, i tend to need space for several days before talking something out. But with him, I didn't wanna risk anything. I couldn't sleep  unless I knew we were okay. And I think you know it's really love when a person can make you really angry and get on your nerves, but there's still no one else you'd rather be with. Somewhere inside, you know it's right, even if things are going wrong. Love is not perfect. Love does not mean you never argue, but it means you argue gracefully, it means your arguments have a purpose, not just to hear yourselves talk, but to resolve and work out whatever issue may arise. When it hits you for the first time, you'll know. No doubt about it.

It's a feeling I can't describe in words, only to say you'll know it when it comes. I knew it was not like the others bc he was literally perfect in every way. Everything I always wished my exes would be or do, he is and does. Everything I hated about my ex husband, my fiance is the complete opposite of those things. I know we are soul mates and will always be together bc I know 100% there is not one other man out there who is better for me than he is. If I ever lost him I'd spend eternity trying to find someone like him and it would never happen. He goes above and beyond and shows me how loved I am every day without any prompting. He continues to surprise me every day with how amazing of a human being he is.
