When did you tell friends and family you were pregnant?

We told our parents and one set of friends right away (they’re our support system). Otherwise everyone else gets to wait until somewhere around 13 weeks.

We told our parents and siblings when we were only 4 weeks. They are our support system. If I were to miscarry we would definitely tell them so we didn't see the point in waiting. We are waiting to tell the world until we are at least 12 weeks.

We started telling immediate family at around 6-8 weeks? We won't tell others until about 14-16 and probably won't make a public announcement until 20 weeks.

oh well.. its like am different... I didn't tell anyone, when I start showing.. and I get questions like "are you pregnant?" then I just reply "yes I am!!" that's when I tell someone..
so if you dont ask, I don't tell!!

I told my mom after my first appointment at 7 weeks because I didn’t have anyone else to talk to about it. But we’re going to wait until our next appointment at 11 weeks to tell all other close family. We’ve had miscarriages before and they suck so it’s just easier not having to backtrack and un-tell everyone. It’s up to you though, whenever you feel comfortable telling people.
