Hcg levels didn't double?

Question

I got blood work done 9/27 @ 6 weeks 1 day to check hcg level and then again on 9/29 @ 6 weeks 3 days.. number from 9/27 was 7420 and number on 9/29 was 7799... I'm waiting to hear from the dr on what she wants me to do.. can anyone tell me if they've gone through this and baby was ok? I'm currently at work and I can't stop crying.. I'm terrified right now

My levels didn't double, as a matter of fact at one point they dropped. I even bled for 2 weeks but yet I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and have heard my baby's heartbeat twice and seen baby 3 times! I'll be seeing baby again this Saturday! For some women, it takes longer to double, some never double and still have perfectly healthy babies and pregnancies! Try not to worry too much, your levels did go up so that's a good thing!

Hey Haley, can I ask why your outcome was with this pregnancy? Currently going through the beta game :( numbers aren’t doubling every 24-48. More like 72. 5 weeks tomorrow.

I hate to say it, but that’s not a good sign. I had this happen to me last year in my 6th week, and I lost the baby. It’s possible that everything is still ok though. The doc may want you to come back in another 48 hours to draw again and see if it’s still rising. I really hope Everything turns out ok for you. Huge hugs and I’ll pray for you and your baby right now.
