Relationships

I am currently talking to a guy who is like amazing, but he doesn't do relationships... he likes to do everything that dating includes just without the drama I understand that. Here's the problem, we are both 16 and my mom is hella strict and his mom is my teacher. And regardless if we hang out or go on a date; how do I explain this to my mom without her freaking out about it being friends with benefits. (That's how he puts it)
