Fetal growth restriction
This is my 2nd baby, my daughter is perfectly healthy and we had a text book pregnancy and birth. However this time around, I had a 12 week ultrasound and blood test to screen us for any issues. I'm now 16 weeks along. There's levels in my blood that indicate I might have issues with "fetal growth restriction" later in our pregnancy.
The paper work says "a low PAPP-A (less then 0.45) is associated with a moderate increase in the risk of later pregnancy complications- particularly fetal growth restrictions.
My results were 0.31.. and they suggest 0.45 is already low.
I did a quick google search and stopped reading almost immediately. It was terrifying. Has anyone else had any experience with this? Or Am I stressing out over potentially nothing?
Please help, I'm so anxious over this.
