37 weeks 4 days - doctors thinking about inducing

Hi

So today went in to delivery suite to be checked out for a concerned leak I had.

Was put on the monitor, did a check of cervix and ultrasound..

All was good, did a wee test and had a little bit of white cells in test, doctors came back in and asked if they could do a physical assessment of the cervix and to see if they can break he water.

He said to the other doctor we can break the water quite easily, he finished up and then continue to ask me if I would think about being induced I didn't know what to say I was in shock.

He said he was going to go and speak to the head chief on the ward, so he came back and said to attended appointment on Friday for a CCG and further Discussion the option!!

Reason for induction is the lack of fetal movement. Where there were heaps they have now slowed down to a minimum amount which can happen close to the end but they still seemed more worried to be having less. Anyone else have this and what choice did you make
