Medications you take that work for PCOS

So I'm on BC to clear me out. Was taking Provera and it decided to stop giving me a cycle. I've done metformin. I hate metformin. I'm sure anyone who takes metformin hates it to be honest. Had a follow up this morning with doc since being put back on BC- still on this cycle from hell. Day 6 hopefully it's on it's way out because this is getting to be a serious nuisance. Doctor said she was gonna put me on metformin and I told her no. So she put me on Spironolactone. I've been apparently experiencing high blood pressure lately too , yay me and she says it will combat both High BP and PCOS. Anyone have experience with this medication?
