Anyone have BFN 4 &5 days before AF, then BFP?

AF is due 10/8 and I tested on 10/3 and 10/4 and got BFN. I was cramping a few days after ovulating and they didn't feel like my normal PMS cramps, they felt different. My boobs are also sore. I don't want to keep retesting and getting BFN... but I want to know if it's common for early detection tests to be false negative.

I had immediate symptoms after ovulating, within 4 days. 2 false negative tests during the 2 week wait. today is the first day of missed period, and I got a positive test!!!

I'm due 10/8 as well tested yesterday with a BFN I can't wait so i'll test again tonight or in the AM

If you use first response they’re usually accurate. I’ve never been mislead by the early test. But fingers crossed there’s a first for everything.

Yes it's very common for early testing to be a false negative - I was a week late. Rhode I got my BFP when I got pregnant with my son. We'll see in few days if the same thing happened again.

Following! I'm in the same boat as you. AF is due 10/8, I had some cramping the end of last week, metallic taste in my mouth Friday and some nausea yesterday but a BFN this morning. 🤞🏻hopeful. Baby dust to you Jennifer!
