Cant vent on Facebook. So ill post here

You say you can’t stand me well how funny is that? I’ve been the same person all my life and you sure could stand me then? When I was giving you what you “needed” you could stand me. When I was ignorant to your “tirades” you could stand me. When I was a love-sick girl you could stand me. As long as I was malleable and bent at the knees at everything you ever said you could stand me. But what about now? Now because I stand strong and know who I am and know that I am a good person, good wife, a good caregiver, mother, daughter, sister, and friend and yet you can’t stand me? You can’t stand me because I no longer sit by and blindly follow you into the storm. You can’t stand me because I speak the truth. You can’t stand me because without you I am standing on my own being the person that you held back for too long. The person you can’t control and the person who loved you desperately while trying to love herself enough not to notice that you never loved her. Maybe in your sick and twisted scheme you thought lust for a body was enough to pass as Love but I craved more and you caved not being able to see past your own selfish and arrogant ways. You abandoned the life we were creating for a life of waste, booze, women, and loneliness all because your ego was too big to deflate and try to see past your own self. One day you’ll wake up and won’t recognize the life that lay before you and you’ll look to me but all you’ll see is a self-fulfilled woman who finally lay waste to the invisible chains that held me shackled to you for years!
