Electric toothbrush?

My daughter used to love when I'd brush her teeth. Now she insists she does it and has a screaming flailing tantrum but clenches her mouth shut when I try to help. I know her teeth are not getting cleaned as they should be. Are there electric toothbrushes geared towards this age that kids love? Or any other suggestions??? She does love to do it herself, esp while I brush mine.

Yes!  Just buy a cheap one and try it! :) ones with the small round brushes are better for small mouths. I suggest this all the time as a hygienist.

I really like the banana brush or corncob brush (made from the same people). It's silicone and shaped like a banana or corn cob. Haha. It's a teether and a toothbrush. I have great results brushing my girls teeth with this. Every time I use a regular baby tooth brush it, the bristles tickle her mouth and she won't cooperate. With the silicone one, she's usually great! Dentist said it was an acceptable brush. She has 12 teeth!
