period??

Today is my first day of my period (Two days late according to eve) and at first the blood was brown and very liquidy. Does this blood look normal? this period definitely feels a lot more different and painful than previous periods. There's barely any blood coming out but it feels like its a lot, like its soaking through the bad and the blood looks really really liquidy than usual and I'm having severe cramps
