What to wear when sleeping?

I dress my 2 month old baby in footie pajamas and then swaddle him (Muslim swaddle) at night. He sleeps currently in his rock ‘n’ play (just barely starting to try to transition to a bassinet). My house is about 68°F, possibly a tad colder at night, does this sound like it’s an okay thing for him to wear at night? I’m worried about overheating :(

I never know what temperature/dress is ideal for our son as he seems to be hot when I'm freezing! We normally dress him in long sleeve pajamas and wrap him in a muslin swaddle arms free. I like to have the jammies that cover his hands if possible because they are always cold if not. We set the thermostat between 70 and 72, but we have the ceiling fan on high.

My little one sleeps in a onesie and swaddle. She doesn't sleep well if she's too warm. We have our thermostat set to 70 but it's always a little warmer upstairs at our house. I just play it by ear and see what works for her.

Wow. My son is 2 months and wakes up sweaty just wearing footie pajamas. He's a little furnace, like his daddy. He can't stand being swaddled and would definitely overheat. I can't even put him in his fleece jammies because he gets way too hot in them. And our apartment stays cool, I freeze. But baby and dad are always super warm!

The doctor told us to go by the rule that the baby is comfortable in one more layer than you are. We used to set our ac to 69 at night but our room gets extra cold and the temp on the baby monitor always said it was much colder in there with the ac running. We now set the ac to 71. We put our little man in footie pjs and a sleep sack. I also wrap a little blanket around his feet. He sleeps in a rock n play, so the blanket around his feet doesn’t make it up near his face.

My house gets anywhere from 62-68 at night and we put the in fleece footies with socks on her feet under and socks on her hands. Then I swaddle her with her arms out and put on a hat. She is always just right temperature when I unswaddle to feed and what not, so I'm sure your fine. You should be able to feel there chest to make sure they aren't too warm or sweating.

My daughter is two months and she wears a gown and a halo sleep sack at night. We keep her nursery at 68-69 degrees. We will be switching to a fleece sleep sack soon since it's getting cooler here. She will also wear feet pajamas once we aren't feeding her/changing her diapers every 3 hours. The gown just makes it easier.

My LO wears the same and is swaddled as well. We set our house to 70 degrees. He seems comfortable so I guess? Lol Folowing to see of anyone says otherwise.
