3cm and sex?

Question

So i found out at my appointment today that I’m 3cm and at least 50% effaced. My hubby and I have a wedding to attend on Saturday, ( he’s a groomsman) so baby boy kinda needs to stay in until after that. 
I should have asked at my appointment, but I didn’t think of it so I’m asking you ladies: do you think I should refrain from having sex with my hubby for now?

Hahaha I would have the sex.... you could always bring the baby to the wedding - the bride should understand considering you could have the baby any time now hahaha it would make a great story lol

I was 7cm for over a week. Had sex several times and they still had to break my water to get me to go into labor! I'm sure you'll be fine!

You can have sex all day and all night and unless baby is ready to come the sex wont do a damn thing. The semen does help soften cervix but again if baby isnt ready then you will still be pregnant.

I have been 4 cm 75% effaced since 36 weeks.. 38 weeks now. Hubby and I have done the deed many times. Baby won’t come until it’s time to come 😊

Definitely wait.. my water broke a couple of hours after sex last time and I was 3cm dilated too

Sadly, if he wants to come he’s gonna come if you have sex or not. But because it could possibly make you go into labor I would wait on it.

I just going to say it… it doesn’t matter what you do, if the baby is ready it’ll come. All these “tricks” to naturally induce labor aren’t truly effective or proven to work… much of it is happenstance. I know that it’s proven that seamen will soften the cervix but that still doesn’t prove that it will induce labor. Go have your fun with your man or don’t - do whatever, your baby will come when it’s ready.
