am i wrong here?

My man and i have been together for 3 years. Have been through the shittiest of situations and not one of his friends has helped him, but i have always been there. Ive also been having some self esteem issues. What really gets to me is his "friends" (😒) that are girls. He CLAIMS they "dont mean anything" or "theyre nothing" but the way he responds/ reacts to their messages or comments on FB make me think otherwise. Ive told him Im really uncomfortable with him being that close with them and he says he understands, but then blows off how i feel and goes behind my back and messages them. I know that "men are allowed to have Friends too" blah blah blah, but I just don't see a need for them in his life when they've watched him suffer through so much. am i wrong for feeling like he should almost cut their friendship off/that kind of thing?
