Having a baby without your husband home.

Anyone had their first baby born while your s/o was gone during deployment? I’m nervous/worried the first child we have while he’s on deployment will be scary when he comes home. Everyone tells me that him missing his first child being born will be bad because he won’t have that bond and knowing “love at first sight.” I don’t understand why it’s so upsetting to people. Another wife told me it messed her up mentally and I’m losing it😭😭😭😭
