Help... step children.

I need some opinions...

So i have two step daughters. They live in Oregon with there mother. We live in South Carolina. We’ve begged them to come live with us and they don’t want to.

So I wanted to do a family Christmas card and family photos and my husband says NO because it will upset his girls. They are 10 & 15 and they are choosing to live with there mom.

Am I in the wrong for being pissed? I’m sick of walking on egg shells when it comes to them. They don’t want us in there life they have made that clear numerous times verbally.
