Alice's birth story!
I had my normal 38w apt yesterday (Thursday the 5th) doctor told me I was a 3-4 100% effaced and did a membrane sweep. I continued to have a lot of pressure for the rest of the night. Went to be around 10 and decided to try and get some sleep. I slept very well. (Haven't in a long time) Woke up around 6am feeling fine....started having a little pressure around 7. Asked the hubby to stay home from work.
Then I felt fine. No contractions, no pain....
Until about 11:30. I was on my way to get a pedicure with my mom. Made it to the nail salon parking lot and had a horrible amount of pressure. Called my dr. who wanted me to come in right away. He checked me and I was at a 4. (Having a lot of pressure) He sent me home and asked me to come back at 3 and see if I progressed.
Still only feeling pressure in my hips. I went home and walked for two hours!!
Back to the dr. office at 3 and I am not a 5+.
Off to the hospital I went.
3:45 I was admitted
4:30 water was broke (now feeling contractions)
4:34 epideral was in ( thank god)
6:16. Baby Alice was born!!
