Okay...so I'm 14 years old and my boyfriend is 16. I'm a freshman in highschool. My boyfriend keeps heavily hinting and talking about bj and hj's and sex...I've told him how I feel about having sex which is I'm not ready...but I feel like I might be ready for other things...I'm struggling to know if I should or not, any advice would mean so much, thanks

I talked to my husband about this recently ... that phase of being a young man, when you are so overwhelmed by your desire to have sex and kiss girls and etc but you aren't emotionally mature enough to truly care about that person as an individual, think about them as basically someone's daughter and give them any sort of commitment. He just can't do that yet. He's just a boy at 16 years old who's being driven by his hormones. You have to be the one to decide what you're willing to do, your standards basically and stick to them because for now you're not going to be meeting a partner who can really give you much back in return emotionally or assist you in making those decisions. You do what you are comfortable with, what you can live with right now. I know my husband is a good man, a very good man, and he looks back on his teenage years and knows he didn't treat every girl with the respect that he should have or recognize their worth as individuals. He just wanted what he wanted and didn't give it much more thought than that. Seriously he still feels bad when he thinks about it and that's why there are so many fathers who are so overprotective of their young teenage daughters.

DON'T DO ANYTHING YOUR NOT COMFORTABLE WITH. If he continues pressuring you when he knows your not comfortable, it would seem he doesn't care about YOU and your limits. I lost mine when I was 14 to an 18 year old (to think about it now he didn't even pressure me at all lol guess it was me) and I didn't have a bad experience but looking back I would've waited for the person that was for ME.

If you have any hesitation at all don’t bc ur probably not ready normally when ur ready ur telling each other you want you and you feel confident about ur choice if u have second thoughts don’t do it bc if you value ur V once u give it up you can’t ever get it back. If you are questioning it do not do it. Once you do those things and experience them you can’t take it back and it could easily effect how other sexual experiences go for you. If he doesn’t understand then that’s his loss.

Boys that young only want sex and will say anything to get it. I know that sounds like a cliche but it’s true. I lost mine at 14 and I regret it now that I’m older and that’s something you can’t take back. You don’t need to be doing anything that young that you wouldn’t want everyone hearing about because that’s usually what happens. Unless you can stand behind your actions you don’t need to do those things.

Girl. He is not the last person you'll be with. There are other BETTER guys out there. No man would ever try to talk you into anything your not comfortable with. Which means he's just a child. Go get yourself someone YOU deserve. Don't ever settle girl cause then guys will think your "worth" less then you really are. You are a dime a dozen, a beautiful, smart young lady.
