Boyfriends parents not supportive at all

So my bf and I have been dating for four years. We are other very family oriented people so this is why this concerns me. I am super close to my family and my family LOVES my bf. My mom is always super nice and she texts him occasionally like have a good first day of school, hope all is well etc. Well I just got an interview for my dream job. The day of the interview it was his moms bday and I texted her and said happy birthday. You think she would have said good luck, hope all goes well etc right? Nope nothing just a thank you. Okay maybe they will say something to me when we go out to dinner then next night, nope nothing. Ik I'm not dating his parents but honestly it's like they don't care about me or what I do at all. I wished them luck when they started their new business and offered to help whenever. I hope this doesn't sound petty but its just built up over the years of them not even asking how I am, how is school, how my family is etc, but I have to listen to them constantly talk about themselves. I'm honestly starting to hate how they act and getting mad at my bf. Ik it's not his fault but I just want to date a guy who has a family who cares about me. Does that make sense?
