Hi, I’m 32 and after TTC for 12 months I started tracking my BBT and started using OPKs, only to find that I haven’t ovulated in at least 3 months (since I’ve started tracking). My OBGYN sent me to a fertility clinic and my doctor there diagnosed me with PCOS. Upon doing a transvaginal ultrasound my doctor found a 1 1/2” cyst on my left ovary. He is starting me on metformin, I have blood work to do on day 2-3 of my next cycle (hopefully in the next few days...) and an HSG to schedule after that. While I am not happy with this diagnosis, I am SO grateful that we found out WHY we haven’t conceived in over 15 months of trying, and my doctor is very confident that once we get more hormones back on track we should not have trouble conceiving (provided my husband’s sperm sample looks good and my body systems are healthy otherwise). I am looking forward to the available support on this board. ❤️
