near to term ftm question, when do you feel like to cook or clean after birth?

I am praying for normal delivery, so if that happens after how much time I will be able to cook and clean with slow pace?
like a month or two months?
actually I will go to my mum's place as per the tradition of my family for resting for a month. but before that I think my mum will not be able to make when I deliver my baby. so after coming home I will have to atleast cook a very small meal, husband will surely help but still. 
and after returning from my mum's place I wish I will be able cook atleast as in country where I live we get good househelps.

are you asking when you'd be able to do these? even with a c section, you should be fine to do both of these right away. Just with a c section you'd have to be careful with your incision, you don't want to tear it open. but with a normal delivery, there is no reason you can't cook or clean right off the bat.

It depends on the type of cleaning. You shouldn't be doing any lifting for two weeks (like no lifting wet laundry or big piles of laundry) - no lifting anything heavier than your baby. You will physically feel able to lift, but it's important to take that time off because the muscles in our pelvis are weakened by pregnancy and lifting strains them, there is a risk of uterine prolapse (the uterus bulging downward into or out of the vagina). So to be safe: no heavy lifting for two weeks 💜

I did dishes and laundry the night I came home from the hospital. Considering all goes well it shouldn't be a problem. Just no heavy lifting and rest if you feel you need a break

I had a vaginal delivery and was cooking and cleaning the day I came home from the hospital. Just don’t overdo it. 
A c-section might be different but I don’t have experience with that.

eh i loved keeping a clean home but that all went out the window. I wanted to just be easy on myself, heal, and bond with baby. now at 4 months pp I'm getting back to it a bit, but it's hard when my baby rarely naps and goes down for the night at 11pm.

I had a csection. 
If you have to have one, no matter how bad it hurts try to move around even if it’s taking the long way to the bathroom or walking lightly around the house, if you don’t move you will hurt worse at night time when you lay down. 
I couldn’t bend down to pick things up off the floor for at least 5 days, it still hurt until I got my staples out at my 7 day PP. 
You can cook and wipe counters and change diapers just take things slowly, drink lots of water, and rest!! 
I am now 12 days PP and I can move around and bend like normal but my scar tissue is still forming on the inside so I cannot lift super heavy things or do vigorous exercises yet.

I picked up the house and cleaned up the day I came home from the hospital. I didn't start making big or difficult meals right away, but you can make food still. It's more an issue of doing so when the baby is asleep.

I started cleaning and cooking the night we came home. Just know your body and dont overdue it. Also ask for help when you need it. I found it helped with pain when i was up moving around versus laying around all day. I always hurt more when i was laying around. Im 3 weeks pp now and have no pain or bleeding. 
Everyone is different though! Just trust and listen to your body.

my little girl was born September 16th (4weeks early) & spent 2 weeks in NICU. During that time I had to come home between feeds to clean the house & look after our dogs. Honestly, I feel 10X better now than I did before I gave birth (hyperemesis gravidarum sucks ass). Lina is now 3 weeks old & hubby left on field exercise yesterday for a month, I'm still feeling pretty ok about everything 😊

I did these things right away but I doubt FEEL like doing them.. I HAD to. or else my house would be a mess and no one would ever get food unless it was pizza. Yeah my husband tried to cook sometimes but it had to be something simple that I could just easily instruct him thru. I'm 2m PP now and can mentally and physically do the cooking and cleaning to my hearts content, finding the time to do a full clean is another story. newborns like mom's attention 24/7
