Baby Boy weighs 6 pounds 11 ounces at 37 weeks.. is that average, big, small?! Thoughts!

Tech said if I end up going to 40 weeks he should be around 8 pounds which she said is normal. Just curious of everyone else's opinion. I'm hoping to find out tomorrow if I'm thinned out or dilated at all. 😍💙😬 He's all smushed but so adorable I'm literally obsessed with my son.

Those scans can be off by up to one pound. The older your baby gets the less accurate the measurements are. Also they should tell you what the percentile your baby falls into is. If not, ask.

I had my son at 37w 2d he was 7lb 7oz I considered him big for being 37w so id say yours is average

Those scans can be off, but i would say that's pretty average.  I had my son at 36+3 and he was 6lbs 10oz
