My period came on yesterday, but last night about 2 hours after going to bed, I woke up soaking wet from sweat. I mean pajamas & sheets visibly wet from sweating. And I sleep with the fan on. I've had night sweats right before my period occasionally in the past, but none as severe as the one last night. I'm 27, so I don't think menopause is causing it. Does anyone else experience night sweats near or during their period? Is that normal? Is it a hormonal thing?
