False positives?!

I took these pregnancy tests this weekend. They are faint, but look positive, right? I just got back from the doctor and their urine test came back negative 😪 How is that possible? I'm crushed. Waiting on blood results now.

HCG levels are highest in concentration when you haven't urinated in a long time, so early morning tests can be more sensitive than urine tests after chugging water or at the doctors. But, at home tests can give faint false positives due to evaporation, or over-dunking the tests (ie if you leave the test in the sample for too long). Best answer should be the blood test or waiting another few days. Good luck!

Your clearblue looks like a stronger positive than mine was, and I'm definitely pregnant.  These were some of my early positives.

I've seen that happen a lot on this app. People have had several positive hpt but the doctors test is negative. I would just keep testing a couple times a week and go back to the doctors in 2 weeks. I would feel your HCG levels would be high enough then to show up on their test.

Yes those look positive to me. I’ve heard sometimes the dr tests are not as sensitive.
