What pads to use after birth??

Soooo I'm looking at what I'll need after baby comes and it's come to my attention that I'll need pads for myself. So my question is wtf do I use. I want something absorbent and safe like non toxic and non cented. And i see like the stright up like pads that are like underwear and I'm really not aposed to using those if they are comfortable! I just want whatever works best and FEELS best I hate pads so I have almost no experience with them at all. So I'm feeling pretty worried about how this will go. Also how long do you need them does anyone really know?

Girl I feel you.. this is a good question.. as I've used tampons for for so long.. it's like I know nothing about pads anymore. But I remember when I was a teen and having a really heavy flow and had to wear both a tampon and pad at night.. always overnight I think was what I used and I liked those. And the ones the hospital supplies are really good.. least at my local hospital. Good luck!

I used the Always Infinity pads. They are my favorite pads and all I'd ever use. You can buy them scent free. They aren't organic, but personally, I don't think that's a big deal. And I bled for almost five weeks after birth. Some women don't bleed that long. It's really just dependent on you so I can't say how long you'll need them for.

I wore the mesh undies and pads the hospital provided for the first few days then switched to these. They were lovely and I didn't feel like I was wearing a thick diaper.

Hospital usually give you tons. My aunt worked in the hospital as a cleaning lady and supplied me a months worth. I bled for about 8 weeks I think 10 not sure because I was having my period after as my doctor told me. :( anyways I'm not sure what the other pads I used were called but I buy them at Walmart and there super super long come son blue bag and the pad packaging is purple says it's for over night but I use them morning and when I'm on the go they are perfect and life saver!!

The hospital provided me with a big bag of maxi pads that had a little under 2 months worth in them. I bled for 7 weeks. I like always pads for after birth. I use Kotex on my actual periods.
