Trouble finding out baby's gender early due to be overweight?

just wondering if anyone had trouble find out the baby's gender early at 15-16 weeks because of them being over weight? I was at the doctor yesterday and hot a ultrasound at 10 weeks and they had to do it transvaginal because they couldn't get the babies heart rate on my belly.. just wondering if they might have trouble finding the gender that early.

I’m overweight and I found out the gender at 14 weeks. I used someone who does ultrasounds for fun though!

I found out at 16 weeks, I’m 5’9” and 266 size 20 give or take a size.  They’ve had no trouble doing over the tummy ultrasounds, but I have noticed some of them are blurry-ish.  But then again, we also have a little boy that willl not stay still for anything during an ultrasound.

I had my appointment at 16.6 weeks, I'm 234 and the only reason why Dr couldn't tell the gender was because baby was covering with their hand lol, otherwise he had no problem finding the heartbeat or measuring baby, so don't worry about it, anyway after 20 weeks it's when they can get the best view to guess the gender.

nope you'll be fine usually can't tell for sure until 16 weeks

if they used a Doppler to look for heartbeat and couldn't find it, it's normal to alternately use U/S cause baby is tiny at 10 weeks.

I'm now 16 weeks and last week my new ob had a hard time getting an image on baby but we think it was just baby moving too much. Cause the next day I went to my specialist appt and we got clearer images of baby. but if I'm not mistaken you usually find out at about 20 weeks the gender through ultrasound since private parts will be very visual at that week...
