Help! I'm a horrible friend

I just need to vent :( my best friend was my maid of honor and she didn't have any money when I was getting married. She had gotten laid off and was unemployed for 5 months. I paid for her bridesmaid dress that was $160. She also coordinated a shower for me and got $100 from the other 4 bridesmaids each. Now, she's getting married and I paid the same amount for my bridesmaid dress. Her sister doesn't talk to me and she's planning a shower for her. My friend wanted money ($100) from me for the shower, but i am going through infertility issues and tests that cost $$$. She got mad at me for not contributing money for her shower! I tried talking with her, but she won't answer me. She says she is disappointed with me, but I honestly think she just wants the money and won't negotiate or talk to me. Im really sad about this :( and just wanna hear if I'm wrong or right. Please advice!
