I was 38w3d when my son was born, but my labor started at 38w1d. Not sure if that counts as week 38 or week 39 😄

I started Labor the day before my due date and then had my son the next day on his exact due date.

I was 39w4d when I had to have a scheduled c-section. So I never went into labor. P.s. I’ve already heard all the bs about having a scheduled c-section vs having a vaginal birth and going into labor. In my case, (not that I or anyone owes anyone else an explanation on their childbirth which is an extremely personal matter) my son was breech and the drs wanted to turn him. I refused and I’m so glad I did because he was stuck in my rib cage. Moral of the story: trust your mommy instincts. They are usually right.
