Dilemma
So I have a bit of a dilemma...
This is my second child and will be a scheduled c-section. My mom was in the room for my daughter's emergency c-section 3 years ago (husband does not do well with hospitals/blood/etc). Since this one will be scheduled, my MIL who lives in Florida has expressed interest in being in the room (husband has again decided not to be in there, which is totally fine with me). So the problem is my mom who is adamant that she will be in the room and is not even considering possibly letting my MIL in instead. This could be my MIL's only chance to see a grandchild born (since it's planned, plus her daughter has some issues and may never have kids). I feel kind of bad for my MIL and told them both they would have to decide between themselves who goes in (it really doesn't matter to me either way, they would both be supportive in the room). My mom, of course, flipped out and said she thought it was already decided that she would be in there and that it wasn't going to change. I told her to try and see it from my MIL's perspective but she basically shut down on me and said I had to decide. I want to stay out of it as I don't need the added stress. Who do you think should be in the room?
