Frustrated with my body?!! Any advice would help please

Since going off BC pill in June I've had 3 cycles with 45-50 days between periods.

I am not sure when I've been ovulating, but I thought I did on CD 14 this cycle bc I had left sided low cramping lasting for one night (couldn't confirm with sticks bc I was out for a few days). Had sex the next day though. Then all good since then but this past Monday on CD 29 I got a very positive ovulation test and had EWCM. Weird bc seems very late but had sex again anyway (and had been regularly having sex every few days). Then I FINALLY thought my cycle was normalizing bc I started bleeding very bright red (no clots) on Tuesday CD 30, but it only lasted like only 12 hours. Now nothing!! Wtffff is happening. I was so excited that my cycle was finally going back to normal.

I tested for pregnancy with FMU today and was negative and no LH surge either. Any thoughts on this weird cycle?? 5th month trying, both of us don't smoke and are healthy and exercise. Never been pregnant before.
