How many friends do you have?

If you comment also how old are you? I'm interested in how the number of friends changes as we get older and at what age they really start dropping away.

I’m 22 and I’ve never had a lot of friends, but I have some acquaintances . I had one friend” before I got with my SO but she turned out to be fake and spiteful. The only person I really talk to on a daily basis and tell everything to is my SO. He’s my best friend.

I’d say my SO is my best friend, but I have a couple other close friends. That’s it though. I hate shallow friendships so I cut people off incredibly easily if I’m not getting anything from our friendship.

I have 2 or 3 really close friends I can talk to about basically anything, and my boyfriend. I also hang out with his roommates and friends and have a few other old friends I catch up with every now and then or hang out with once in a really long time. I'm 24

I'm going to be 20 this coming year and I have one best friend I see often.  Her GF and the guy I'm talking to currently are the only other people I talk to regularly and are close friends (obviously. We're always kinda of the small group of people hanging out together). I have a few other people I consider friends, but it's not constant like the previous mentioned. Once breaks come around from Uni or work/life gets in the way, we don't talk much. I've always preferred to have a small friend group anyhow, though. Larger friend groups always seemed to have a conflict about something or another when it came to hanging out and would end up crumbling.

i’m lucky to still talk to my bffs from HS . we’re still all BFFs . so it’s just me and them two .

Im 24 and have my boyfriend I see and talk to everyday, and then a best friend I've had since school I talk to a few times a month and see maybe once a month. Other friends from school might all meet up once a year and only 4 or 5 of us. Barely talk anymore otherwise.
I feel like I missed my chance while I was at uni as I met my boyfriend and we had friends but neither of us got that close to anyone other than each other. I sometimes regret that now. 😞 I wish I knew more people to hang out with.
