Do you ever get tired of news about people talking about the news?

I mean the sort of thing that's like the breathless reporting on how someone responded to something else in the news. I was thinking about this in regards to the whole Weinstein thing, but it's true about everything else, like the world has become a gossip page. "What did random republican X say about what a celebrity said about what trump said." Or "why hasn't random celebrity made a statement on the statement about another celebrity about what's going on in Puerto Rico"?

It's like all reporting has turned into tabloid celebrity gossip about who is falling out with who and who made catty remarks on the set about their costar, etc. 

Can't I just get the actual news?
