Preemie Clothes Question! Need to Know! EDIT! Also what brand of PS diapers worked best? Huggies or Pampers?

I will be having my daughter at 34+3 and I have a growth scan tomorrow but she's kind of a chub for age (52nd percentile last time she was checked) so we're expecting 4.5-5 lbs right now and very little NICU time as she looks phenomenal and my doctor said premie clothes were smart because her daughter wore preemie for a few weeks when her daughter was born at 35 weeks and 5 lbs. What was your experience with smaller babies and their clothes? I need to order them soon if I do since she will be here in 11 days!💜 
EDIT: Wow! So glad I asked my friends gave me horrible advice and tried to convince me not to get newborn size either (didn't listen have more than enough) but I wasn't expecting preemie! Thank you all so much! ALSO just curious, how long did you use PS diapers and what brand? Huggies or Pampers?

If she's going to be small then she'll probably be in premie clothes for awhile. I had my daughter at 38weeks and she was only 5lbs 4oz and a tiny little thing. I wasn't able to put her into newborn clothes for along time.

I would buy a few things that are preemie but not a ton because she will start to grow!!❤ why is it that you're having her early? congrats!💕

my son was born at 37 weeks, 6 pounds, 17 3/4 inches, he work preemies for about 4-5 weeks

My twin boys (delivered at 37+4) used preemie clothes for a month before "fitting" in newborn clothes. My boys are currently a little over 3 months and fitting in 0-3 months (baggy but it fits).

My daughter was born three weeks early and I wish I had bought preemie clothes. She was 6.3 pounds and newborn clothing was way to big for her for a few weeks. I would definitely buy a few things just to be safe! Good luck ☺️

My 5lb 34 weeker wore preemie clothes for about 3 weeks and never wore preemie diapers, only newborn. He was in newborn for *forever* though.

My son was born at 40 weeks and was still only 6.5 lbs. newborn clothes drowned him. Every baby is different but I’d expect you’d need premie sizes with her coming that early. Good luck!
