Cramps days before birth?

Hi all, I am due tomorrow and I had menstrual-like cramps for a couple of hours Sunday night. Went to bed and they just went away. Same thing happened again last night, went to bed and this morning nothing at all.
Anyone else experienced the same? Wonder if it's my body getting ready?! I'm getting so impatient!!!

I have them, too, dear. I'm 39 weeks. I believe they are Braxton-Hicks. They hurt but are useful in helping push baby down further toward the pelvis, getting baby ready for delivery.

I had them last week for hours and hours a day, for 3 days. I'm not in labor, but I am 2 cm. Maybe it's progression?

Yup same gig formme since a week ago Thursday off and on!  Keep thinking it’s the begging of labor and then NOTHIGN!!  So ready! Apparently baby girl not so much!

If they hurt then they’re contractions. If they’re regular and get closer and more intense (and don’t stop) then go to the hospital. Braxton hicks are just tight and uncomfortable- not painful cramps
