Stethoscope and heartbeat at 18w2d?

Is it possible to be able to hear her heartbeat by stethoscope at 18w2d? I don't want to use a Doppler.

I think that may be too early. I know I recently read about it in one of my pregnancy books when I was reading about baby development for my gestation time and I’m 27 weeks.

It hard bc the baby has to be in the right spot for you to hear. I was able to use one successfully at 37 weeks . And it has to be a good stethoscope to hear it loud
