I have a marginal interest of the umbilical cord. They haven't been too worried so far just watching it closely with monthly ultrasounds. Well now that I'm closer to delivery I have to see the dr every week have a stress test every week and an ultrasound every week. It seems excessive to me. Not to mention the stress of all these damn appointments. I also have to find a sitter for my 2 year old foe the stress test cuz he will not sit quietly through that. I hope all is well with baby but I didn't want to have 2 apts a week till delivery. I also have to labor in the hospital the whole time cuz they are worried the cord will get pinched. And there is a chance I might need a c section but we won't know till I'm in labor.
