Medium Steak?

Is it safe to eat medium steak or no because of the blood?

I avoided anything but well while pregnant but as soon as he was born...

I was told that while you’re pregnant you should only eat meats that are well done, because anytime it’s undercooked, even a little bit, that puts you at risk for foodborne illness. It’s just not worth the risk when you’re pregnant.

As long as the middle is heated to kill e bacteria it’s fine.  I think anything but rare is safe.

I've eaten medium steak throughout my pregnancy and I'm almost at the end here with a healthy baby so far. But I buy high quality meats from trusted sources and I don't order it when I'm out because I don't control how it's cooked. If you are worried, ask your doctor how they feel about it.
