My bf tried talking to another girl

My relationship was just getting better and then I found out my bf was trying to talk to another girl “to be friends with”. I’m so crushed!! Like for him to say that this girl just popped into his head out of nowhere is bullshit!!! He went out of his way to add her on Snapchat! The things that pissed me off was that his cousin encouraged it!! Like she’s in a relationship as well so I would expect her to be against it! He is still “finding himself” so I just don’t want to be there if I’m going to end up getting hurt

He kept apologizing but that’s not good enough. I know I should just end things but I care about him so much!! We’ve been through so much and I just can’t let this brake us apart. So I decided for us to take a break, it’ll be good to clear our heads and figure out what we want to do.

This is the person I trusted with my heart, I’m just soo heartbroken. I have the urge to text him and say that things will get better but I can’t give in cause I need to make sure he knows that what he did wasn’t okay!!
