Period due today (14dpo) but hasnt came yet. When should i test. BFN at 12dpo.

Hi ladies im new here and me and my hubs have been ttc since Dec 2016. I miscarried in June, 5 days before my bday and miscarried again in August a few days after my father passed. My last AF was Sept 16( actually my dads bday😢). I have a 28 day cycle so my AF for this month should come today. I tested at 12dpo with a dollar tree test and got BFN. So my question is, should i test again and when? Dont really have any pre Af symptoms or any pregnancy symptoms besides tender breast and extreme fatigue. Which can be a pre Af sign or pregnancy sign. I dont want anymore BFNs. So what do you guys think?
