UTI pain/kidney infection?

i think ive had a uti for a few days now, ive been taking an over the counter medication and although its helped with the burning, im starting to cramp pretty badly and have a pain in my sides and back. I know this can be a sign of a kidney infection and im getting worried. Its 9pm here and i cant get to a doctor until the morning, will i be okay through the night? My cousin was admitted to hospital not long ago with a pretty bad infection i think this is why im freaking out
