Why does the earth have volcanoes??

like what’s the need of it really? and we dont need it here on earth. for what? 🙄🙄. just a random thought because i was reading about volcanoes   and there’s no need for them on earth , neither is earthquakes or hurricanes or tornados.

Volcanoes is a way for Earth to naturally cool down. What they do is release internal pressure and heat.  So while they seem unnecessary they perform a necessary function for our planet. As for earthquakes they happen because of plate tectonics. Most earthquakes if you notice happen in very mountainous regions. It's two plates rubbing against each other, either in opposite directions or hitting into each other that causes earthquakes. It happens when there is finally too much pressure. Earthquakes while for humans a terrible experience are again necessary to Earth. Without the plate tectonic movement we would never have mountains, such gorgeous places as the Himalayas, and Alps, and the Rockies would have never been created. I'm the child of a geophysicist, and am an archaeologist myself, so if you have any more questions about why we have such things I would be glad to answer.

Just because we don’t need them doesn’t mean they aren’t going to happen. I don’t need pimples, but there they are anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s just naturally occurring phenomena that can’t be stopped or controlled.
