Early pregnancy

Hi ladies, I just found out we're expecting our first baby!!! I thought I was having period symptoms but I got a BFP this morning! We're both so so happy. My husband and I have prayed so hard for this baby. But I'm cramping like I would on the first period day. I have been for about three days. Plus I'm already feeling so sick and nauseous. I don't want to tell anyone until our first doctors appointment so I thought I'd ask you ladies if this is normal? To cramp like this. I'm not bleeding at all but I'm so uncomfortable. Almost like I have a stomach bug or flu. This is all new to me, feeling like this. I'm so excited but also so scared now that it's set in. I'm terrified at the thought of a miscarriage. Any advice will help so much.
