Has anyone you know (sibling, parent, friend, stranger, etc.) ever told you that your sexuality was fake/a lie?

Today I came out to my brother being asexual and he entirely flipped out on me saying “It’s a lie.” And “People that are asexuals are lying and just don’t like people” and “Asexuals are just people trying to be special” and my ‘personal favorite’ “People who say they’re asexuals just make bad decisions.” I didn’t want to say it (because no matter how rude he was, he’s my brother), but it really hurt my feelings that my own full-blooded brother didn’t except me. I just chugged a chocolate milk and tried to forget about it, but it didn’t work.😕
