She's finally here!

A day past my due date and my husband and I are getting lunch with my in laws. Next thing you know I'm at the hospital 5cm dilated with pretty irregular contractions. In 24 hours I had gone from 1.5cm dilated to 5. Next thing you know the doctor is breaking my water and calling the anesthesiologist for my epidural. When he got to my room an hour later I was 8cm dilated and my body was telling me to push. I was able to hold off until the epidural took full effect... 18 minutes later my husband and I welcomed our perfect daughter Adalyn Mae to the world! Never in a million years did I think I'd arrive to the hospital and 3 hours later be holding my little girl 🎀
