Not gaining too much weight 🤷🏼♀️
Alright. I’m pregnant with #2!!!! YAY!! I have a 1 year old. I try and stay pretty healthy while I’m not pregnant. I went buck wild last pregnancy and gained 70 lbs. yup you read that right from 5’2’’ 130 lbs to 200lbs at delivery. It was MISERABLE. This go around I’ve started a little heavier but I am determined not to gain 70lbs again. It was a lot of freaking work carrying all that weight around. I’m 9 weeks today. I hadn’t been on the scale at home yet but I was on at the drs a few weeks back and it said 150, this morning I got on- I’ve started tracking my food and exercising again (stopped in the beginning due to exhaustion). This morning I was 146. I don’t want to be losing weight! Now I’m not even sure I have because you know all scales are different etc. (maybe wore huge boots at last appt can’t remember).
Anyone else trying to be extra healthy and not gain a million pounds?! Im looking for advice. It seems hard I don’t want to starve but I don’t want to be huge. I guess this middle ground I haven’t found yet! I did a pregnancy calories tracker and I’m wearing my garmin watch. I’m trying to eat the number of calories I burn each day (still only 9 weeks so supposedly don’t need extra calories yet).
What’s everyone else do to stay on track?! As my starting BMI is technically overweight I’m hoping to stay in the 15-20lb weight gain range!
Also will def be talking to my dr at my next appt to get whatever advice she can give me!
