Faint Line

I recently took a 1st Responce Early Responce Pregnacy test I took it in the morning on Thursday and the results come back showing a solid line and another solid line, but it was a very faint line. I showed my boyfriend cause I needed a second opinion and another pair of eyes just to be sure...he saw it as well. We weren't convinced so I took another test two days later...I took that one at night and it said negative. My period suppose to start in two days. the question is it better suited to take the test in the morning or at night? And secondly, could I be pregnant though we have beeb trying for 4 months now??
