Buuuuut, I think it's entirely hypocritical of people to say that not standing to anthem and flag is disrespectful, but would also happily wave the confederate flag from their house.

I don’t think it’s disrespectful. Veterans fought for their right to fly whatever. It would be different if one weren’t following the American flag rules.

No because we fought for your right to free speech and all that. However, I find it rude to fly the confederate flag considering what it stands for. My husband has one and I told him I don’t want to see it or I will burn it. He keeps it in his garage. He says it doesn’t stand for slavery...I’m like but babe...the reason they fought for their freedom in the south is so they could KEEP slaves...so yes it had a bad meaning behind it. I refuse to let him fly it anywhere outside or in the house.

People with confederate obsession are usually the first to yell about someone being unpatriotic where I’m from😂. It’s like...do you not see the stupidity when I sit through an anthem because of protest against inequality, but that’s unpatriotic, yet you fly a flag of losers and traitors who fought to keep their selves and that’s somehow patriotic??
