Sex this weekend?

So i posted a few days ago about wanting to have sex with my girlfriend since we havent had sex in about a month due to work schedules and personal interferences. I got jock itch about 2-3 days ago and started putting cream on it since, and we can finally have the opportunity to have sex this weekend. Would it be okay for us to do it even though it hasnt gone away yet? Would i pass it to her if we had sex? Does anyone know what the wait period for this is? Help
