Early scan?

Question

Would anyone recommend paying for an early scan? 
There's a space this weekend where I'll be 7+5 weeks. 
It's only £39 so not worried about money side, just want reassurance but what if it's bad news? 
Can't decide whether to go or not! 
Has anyone done this?

I had an early scan just because I was paranoid. I’m glad I did it as it put my mind at ease...couldn’t face the long wait for the 12 week NHS scan.

Yeah I had an early scan I didn't pay though just lied about my last missed period and said I was irregular. 
I would rather know if something wasn't right earlier on. Once you've seen a heartbeat the chance of miscarriage massively decreases so it is worth that peace of mind

Yes and I was glad I did. I had my scan at 9 weeks though. I don’t know if you can see anything that early. For me it was the comfort of knowing the baby was alive. It made the wait easier until the first official ultrasound. Congrats and good luck!

I saw the heartbeat at 6+2 so go for it!

Over 7 weeks you should see a heartbeat etc so yep go for it
