what is this "bloody show" everyone is talking about.. it sounds scary. 😣

I had a bloody show. It doesn't hurt and was scary at first but after a few wipes there was no more blood.
Basically it's your cervix completely opening. Basically losing your mucus plug.

It's not scary. But I definitely wasn't expecting it 😂 went to the bathroom and there it was. At first I was like oh no! But then remembered people talking about their bloody show and how it looks like snot with some blood in it. So I was like alrighty labor is coming soon! Had my daughter less than 24 hrs later.

It's not lol! Its when your cervix begins to dilate (stretch/open), the mucus that has been blocking the opening comes out. This sometimes happens with some bleeding. It's usually not too heavy until active labor. Just prepare yourself, as there is a lot of blood that goes along with having a baby.
